Yes, You gotta try again…

We will be starting off a new series in which we will be sending a little bit of magic to your mailbox (at unexpected times)! You will get snippets of some design, marketing, business and other miscellaneous stuff we are excited about.

Oh, and to be part of it all, follow us on Pinterest @theboldedge, on Facebook at The Bold Edge, on LinkedIn at The Bold Edge and on Twitter @theboldedge. We will soon be on Instagram too.

Pinterest will show you lots of goodies that we have pinned and gathered just for you. See some amazing resources, freebies, design inspiration and other cool stuff. We are constantly updating our boards.

Let’s get started on today’s bit.

It is interesting…when was the last time you were really trying to create something and you felt as if more and more obstacles kept on being stacked in front of you, until there was a whole mountain. You may have told yourself, this mountain is just too tough to climb. Yes, it is tough to climb. Sometimes, the extra little step, can make that mountain level, it can get you to that goal you have been trying so hard to reach. Keep on pushing (and enlist an external pusher who believes in you so that can keep on encouraging and cheering you on).

Check out this poster we have created just for you. (download link at end of post) Share it with other to cheer them on too!!

However, there are times that you have to leave it be.

You tried and you tried and it just is not working out.

Maybe what you are trying to do does not fit in with your personality.

You should be true to yourself, and not try to be a clone of somebody else and do something just because others are doing it. It may be time to reevaluate and stick to what you are amazing at. I will discuss more in future posts and post some worksheets that can help you figure out your core strengths and how to convert that into business worthy ideas.

I also wanted to introduce you to a cool resource I just discovered: Creative Market, which is a fabulous resource for photos, vectors and fonts. I like that they have lots of hand drawn elements and fonts will give a personal touch to a design. The also have each week a lit of freebie downloads: https://creativemarket.com/

Until next time…
